Mathura Uttar Pradesh India January 22 ANI As many as 15 coaches of a goods train got derailed in the middle of Bhuteshwar Vrindavan on the Mathura-Delhi rail line late on Friday.

After the derailment, the railway traffic between Mathura and Delhi was completely obstructed. All trains coming to Mathura have been diverted.

The railway administration is working on a war footing basis to remove coaches from the track. They are facing problems in rescuing them due to the fog. Local officials of the railways and police administration arrived at the spot as soon as the accident was reported. The chief public relations officer of North Central Railway, Dr Shivam Sharma, said railway officials started clearing the track by asking for big cranes.

The work of clearing the track is going on in full swing according to the information.

Sharma said that the train was going from Rajasthan to Ghaziabad. Three lines up, down and third lines have been disrupted due to the overturning of 15 coaches on Mathura-Palwal main road between Vrindavan-Bhuteshwar at 23.32 last night. Restoration work is under the direction of Agra Divisional Railway Manager Anand Swarup. Local officials immediately reached the spot and senior officers of the division immediately left for the spot as soon as the information was received, he said.
