Battle begins for the successor of Bosnia's intelligence chief

Osman Mehmedagic Osmica, who is a man without a degree but with numerous affairs, investigations and indictments behind him, became known as the head of this agency by heartlessly protecting the married couple Izetbegovic, who is now head of the Intelligence and Security Agency OSA.

Osmica's protective role when it comes to drug dealers detected through the Sky application was the last nail in the coffin of Izetbegovic's mandate. The question now is whether he will receive his pension in freedom or very soon members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Canton Sarajevo CS will knock on his door. While Osmica is the past, the battle for his successor has begun.

In the media, there was a spin-regime rumor that the Eight led by the SDP of Bosnia and Herzegovina BiH could appoint Almir Dzuvo, the former OSA director and house police officer Izetbegovic, who had unsuccessfully managed the intelligence service for 11.5 years.

This is a man close to Zlatko Lagumdzija, the former leader of the SDP, whose structures are now trying to sew up, like a torn rag, to Nermin Niksic, the current leader of the party.

The appointment of the Dzuvo spent will not happen, because of the relations between Lagumdzija and Niksic. It is not an option that he can't get a job.

Foreigners are against his appointment, and a man who spent years protecting the failed regime, which his successor Osmica also did, is impossible to sit in the chair, no matter how close he is to the SDP of BiH.

Bosniaks have more suitable personnel for this position than Dzuvo, according to available information.

This issue will be on the agenda of the coalition partners soon. Things are clear, even though the battle has begun. Avaz reports that the position requires a professional.
