Borjana Kristo to be elected as chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Borjana Kristo HDZ is the first to be elected Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina BiH. This was announced by HDZ leader Dragan Covic, and her mandate must first be decided by the BiH Presidency.

The situation here is quite certain. Two votes are enough to confirm the decision. Zeljko Komsic DF, as he stated many times before, will vote against such a proposal due to the well-known relationship between the HDZ and the DF.

Two votes will suffice for her appointment as chairperson. It is clear that Zeljka Cvijanovic SNSD will support this, and Denis Becirovic SDP should also do so due to the coalition agreement of the Eight with HDZ.

This will be the first decision in which we can expect a split between Komsic and Becirovic, a duo who are presented as a pro-Bosnian option.

The government at the state level should consist of parties of the eight and the HDZ and the SNSD, based on the coalition agreement that was signed and is being implemented. Optimistic announcements say that the state government could be arranged by the end of the month.

Just like before, Becirovic s vote for Kristo will probably cause a new wave of discussions and interpretations in the political public of BiH. This only reflects the complex situation in which all parties operate.

It is so interesting that two days ago Becirovic criticized Milorad Dodik for his interference in the foreign policy of BiH, the same day when Elmedin Konakovic visited Dodik in Banja Luka and talked to him about the formation of the government. This is a good description of the political reality in BiH, according to Klix.ba.
