Despite Elon Musk's rollercoaster ride as Twitter CEO, the microblogging site has propelled to the number one spot for the U.S. News in the Apple App Store ranking.
What Happened: Since Musk purchased Twitter in October of last year, the site's ranking has increased significantly. As of Jan. 9, 2023, the number one spot for the U.S. News was filled with Data.ai, a mobile data analytics tool, according to Teslarati.

Prior to Musk's acquisition, the site ranked number seven for U.S. news in the App Store. Soon after Musk took over the reins, the ranking went up gradually before reaching number one on November 9, 2022.
In December and earlier this month, Twitter s ranking shook up a bit, but on January 9 it was back to number one. The lowest platform ranked since Musk started his CEO journey was 11th, according to the report.
