Pathaan, a superstar starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, is breaking several records at the box office in India and worldwide. Pathaan earned around 160 crore in India on Day 3, January 27, while it crossed the 300 crore mark in just three days.
Trade analyst Ramesh Bala wrote on Twitter that the multi-starrer movie has crossed the 300 crore mark worldwide. He wrote: Pathaan crosses 300 Crs Gross at WW Box office in 3 days sic With this, the movie has toppled blockbuster KGF II from its position of giving the biggest three-day opening weekend in India. The film is estimated to have earned between Rs 34 and Rs 36 crore on the third day. Pathaan's Day 2 collections touched almost 70 crore, while the dubbed Tamil and Telugu versions added another Rs 4.5 crore to the total. The movie earned around 55 crore on its opening day. The worldwide ticket sales for two days were over 219 crore, according to trade analysts.
On Thursday, YRF revealed that Pathaan had become the only Hindi film to break the 100 crore gross box office collection barrier on two consecutive days. The producers said that the numbers were Rs 219.6 crore worldwide.
