Tim Hortons notified Canadian residents who used the app between April 1, 2019 and Sept. 30, 2020, and had their geolocation data collected at least once, of the settlement's approval in an email.

Two credits are being given to eligible users to redeem one free hot beverage and one free baked goods from participating locations, as part of the settlement. They can no longer opt out or object to the settlement and are automatically included in those who received the notice. This is the only remedy and the only relief you have had in relation to class action, the email said. The settlement was made without any admission of liability by the company.
