Chinese shuttlers sail into Thailand Masters semi-finals

In the men's singles, China's Shi Yuqi breezed past Lee Cheuk Yiu from China's Hong Kong 21 -- 9, 21 -- 11, while China's Li Shifeng beat Indian player Sai Praneeth B 21 -- 17, 21 -- 23, 21 -- 18.

In the women's singles, both China's Zhang Yiman and Han Yue secured their semifinals with straight-set wins over Pai Yu Po of Chinese Taipei and Line Hojmark Kjaersfeldt of Denmark.

In mixed doubles, China's Feng Yanzhe Huang Dongping, who recently won the Indonesia Masters in 2023, advanced to the semifinals with a straight-set win over Indonesia's Dejan Fredinansyah Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja.

The 2023 Thailand Masters will take place from Tuesday to Sunday at the Nimibutr Stadium in Bangkok with prize money of $210,000.
