Williams show off new look at Grove factory

On November 13, 2022, Williams' Canadian driver Nicholas Latifi races in the Formula One Brazil Grand Prix at the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace racetrack, also known as Interlagos, in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The former champions, who finished 10th and last in 2022, showed off their new look at the Grove factory with rookie US driver Logan Sargeant joining experienced Anglo-Thai Alex Albon.

The Grove factory will not start its work until February 20 - a week after the car makes its track debut at Silverstone, a team principal and former Mercedes strategy chief James Vowles.

Albon said that making clear progress was the main goal, and he hopes that the team could be regulars in the second phase of qualifying and be closer to 2022.

He said that he doesn't think it will be a Haas, where they came out of the blocks and are very competitive, and that they started in 2022 with a fifth place and points in three of the first four rounds.

In terms of upgrades last year, we had only one significant one. We should be able to bring out smaller and more frequent ones.

I don't think we're going to come out of the blocks firing but we just need to be smart. We did it last year. We started the year on the back foot and started scoring points around midway. We are launching a number of new partners as we go into the season, so I think we are in a more robust position than the team has been in for a number of years.
