After the close on Monday, Harmonic Inc HLIT shares were rising after the company announced a new partnership with Charter Communications Inc. CHTR.

What To Know: Charter Communications has chosen Harmonic as its strategic technology partner. As part of the partnership, the company will implement virtual CMTS technology for advanced broadband services.

Over 90 broadband service providers worldwide are served by Harmonic's cloud-native CableOS solution. Charter plans to use Harmonic's platform to create a flexible and sustainable foundation for market-leading connectivity services.
