ChatGPT took the internet by storm in November after OpenAI released its dialogue-based AI chatbot that has been hailed as a game-changing game-changer in the world of artificial intelligence AI Just five days after its launch, ChatGPT crossed one million users, making it one of the most successful apps ever launched.
The popularity of OpenAI ChatGPT has led to a boom in the adoption of generative artificial intelligence AI, and big tech companies and small startups are in a race to integrate it into their products. Two weeks ago, Salesforce announced the launch of EinsteinGPT, a large language model LLM product that uses the ChatGPT model to write marketing emails.
Salesforce is not alone. There are several startups that are in a race with Big Tech, such as Microsoft and Google. One of the startups that use Artificial Intel storytelling to generate outlines about topics in seconds is Tome. Tome experienced both an increase in user growth and the launch of a new product after a funding round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners last month at a $300 million valuation. Greylock and Coatue are also among the company's backers.
Tome's product is currently free to use, but a paid tier will soon be available for $10 per month to ensure unlimited access for users. Peiris caters to a wide range of clients, including startup companies and college students.
In a statement, Reid Hoffman, partner at Greylock, who invested in Tome, said that startups tend to be faster, moving, iterating and deploying new technologies because they don't have an existing customer base.
