Xinjiang started strong with Tacko Fall and Abdusalam Abdurexit penetrating Beijing's defense. Xinjiang managed to lead 19 -- 15 after the first quarter despite Liao Sanning and Yu Changdong's baskets.

Robert Golden led an 8 -- 0 run for Beijing to take advantage of the advantage early in the second quarter. Xinjiang built its leading position again, with a flurry of 3 pointers from Zhu Xuhang and Christopher Clemons, and led 58-45 into the second half.
