The document says that foreign trade is a crucial element in preserving economic growth and employment, and the nation aims to expand its market by boosting trade promotion, according to the General Office of the State Council.

China said it would push for the complete restoration of offline domestic exhibitions and strengthen its support for foreign trade companies participating in overseas exhibitions.

The guidelines emphasized the importance of initiatives to facilitate the orderly resumption of international passenger flight services, especially those in key domestic airport hubs.

China is also striving to increase its imports and exports of essential foreign trade products, with efforts to link car firms with shipping firms and speeding up the revision of its catalog of encouraged technology and product imports, according to the document.

The country also said it plans to boost its financial support, including initiatives to encourage government-funded financing institutions to provide financing and credit enhancement support for small and micro foreign firms.

The guidelines underscore the importance of efforts to support foreign trade companies in expanding their sales channels through cross-border e-commerce and other new business methods.

The document said the country will enhance the efficiency of its goods transportation and customs clearing to optimize the foreign trade development environment.
