The crew of the new Shenzhou-16 manned spaceflight mission has been unveiled by China. A veterans taikonaut Jing Haipeng, who will step down as commander of a mission set to be launched on Tuesday 9:31 am, will serve as the commander of the mission and lead two fresh faces from the third cohort of Chinese astronauts. Zhu Yangzhu will serve as a flight engineer and Gui Haichao as the mission's payload expert, the Global Times learned on Monday from China's Manned Space Agency CMSA. The first manned spaceflight mission at the China Space Station's application and development stage will include two dockings and two evacuation returns, the CMSA spokeswoman said.
