The high-end smatphone, Motorola Edge 40, is now available on Flipkart in India. The new phone features a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset, a 144 Hz display, IP 68 rating, support for 68 W fast charging and wireless charging.

It's the first smartphone in its category, with wireless charging support and eSIM compatibility. It is also the slimmest because it is just 7.58 mm thin.

The Motorola Edge 40 has been launched in a single storage option that boasts 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The sale is being priced at Rs 29,999 in India. Eclipse Black, Lunar Blue, and Nebula Green colour variants are available.

The smartphone is now available for purchase on Flipkart, Motorola.in, and leading retail stores. You can buy the smartphone with an exchange bonus of 27,999 for sale at a price of Rs 27,999.

The pre-order customers will also get an exclusive Screen Damage Protection Plan for one-time screen replacement worth Rs 9,500.

The Motorola EdgeG has a 65.6-inch FHD pOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate. With a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, HDR 10 support, and a peak brightness of 1200 nits. The CPU is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 SoC, along with the Mali-G 77 MC 9 GPU. The Motorola Edge 40 has 8 GB LPDDR 4 X RAM and 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage.

The Motorola EdgeG has a dual-camera setup on its back for photography. With a 50 MP primary sensor with an f 1.4 aperture, Quad Pixel Technology, and optical image stabilization OIS, it also features a 13 MP super-wide lens with a 120-degree field of view. The front of the device has a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

The Motorola Edge 40 has a 4,400 mAh battery that supports 68 W fast charging. The smartphone also supports 15 W wireless charging and 5 W reverse wireless charging.
