Banks in Odisha, Jammu and Kashmir to remain closed in June 2023

The Reserve Bank of India RBI recommends a total of 12 days for banks to stay closed for a total of 12 days in June 2023. This list of bank holidays in June also includes the second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays.

Of these 12 days, six holidays are listed under the holidays under the Holidays Under Negotiable Instruments Act, while the remaining 6 days are listed under the regular weekend leaves, that is Sundays and the second and fourth Saturdays. As a result, people looking forward to going to the bank for some important work can avoid these dates.

On the account of Raja Sankranti, banks will remain closed in Odisha and Mizoram.

20 June 2023: Banks will remain closed in Odisha due to Rath Yatra.

On June 26th, 2023, the banks will remain closed in Tripura due to the incident of Kharchi Puja.

On June 28th, 2023, banks in Kerala, Maharashtra and Jammu and Kashmir will remain closed for Eid Ul Azha.

Banks will be closed on June 29 for Eid ul Azha.

On account of Reema Eid Ul Azha, Mizoram and Odisha banks will be closed.
