Phone 2 CEO of nothing teases details

The CEO of nothing, Carl Pei, recently confirmed that the nothing Phone 2 will launch globally in July this year. The company is teasing key details about the upcoming 5 G smartphone ahead of its official launch. The phone has been confirmed that it will be eco-friendly and will be eligible to receive long-term Android software support.

Nobody phones 2 is confirmed to feature a 0.15-inch larger display than the previous model, with a 16.55-inch display. Hence, we can say that nothing Phone 2 will come with a 6.7-inch display. It is said that it will be an AMOLED panel with FHD resolution.

The upcoming handset will have a battery that is 200 mAh bigger than the Note 1 which was powered by a 4,500mAh battery. But nothing phone 2 will be powered by a 4,700mAh battery. This was also confirmed by the company CEO earlier this year.

Noise claims that despite the larger display and battery, its carbon footprint is 53.4 kg, which is more than 5 kg lower than its predecessor. The new smartphone is announced to be made in a plastic-free retail package that has more than 60 percent recycled fibre.

The smartphone is currently powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.
