CS adopts 3 capital projects

The government of Canton Sarajevo CS adopted three capital projects of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, for the implementation of which funds were in the amount of about 4.716. The budget for this year has been based on plans of 1,000 BAM, which are also part of the CS Capital Investment Program.

The project is about previous projects for the acquisition of motor vehicles for the execution of duties and tasks under the jurisdiction of the uniformed and criminal police, the creation of a modern system for recording illegal stopping and parking of motor vehicles at public transport stops, as well as the project to upgrade the so-called Sparta system for more efficient execution of duties and tasks under the jurisdiction of the Uniformed Police Sector, said the minister in charge, Admir Katica.

According to the project documentation submitted by the police directorate of the CS Department of Internal Affairs, the funding is in the amount of 2.300. The second-mentioned project is expected to cost 856.417 BAM, and it involves the acquisition of a modern system that will record illegal parking and stopping of motor vehicles at public transport stops in the CS.

As Minister Katica points out, this will preventively contribute to reducing the volume of violations of traffic regulations.

The system should ensure patrolling public transport stops, movement in the traffic lane reserved for public transport, recognition of license plates, creation of a database with license plates of vehicles stopping or moving in these zones, and integration into the system for processing violations that the Minister of Internal Affairs of the CS already uses, Mr Katica said.
