Bosand Herzegovina welcomes NATO Committee delegation

On Wednesday, the Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zukan Helez, presented the delegation of the NATO Committee for Partnership and Cooperative SecurityNATO Committee for Partnership and Cooperative Security, the PCSC, led by Mr. James Mackey, at the Hall of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Helez expressed satisfaction with the visit of the members of the NATO CommitteeNATO Committee and said: The purpose of this visit is very significant and that it comes at the right time when we are going through serious security challenges both globally and regionally. We all feel it, both in political and security terms, and increasingly also in economic and energy terms, he said. He welcomed NATO and the EU, which has supported Bosnia and Herzegovina and its armed forces, through donor support packages, in improving their capabilities and combat readiness.

Helez said that Bosnia and Herzegovina will not falter on its Euro-Atlantic path, and that the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina remain a credible partner to the Alliance, ready to contribute to international peace and security.

Today, the committee continues its activities dedicated to the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina by visiting a number of military sites.
