Barclays' analyst Brandon Oglenski maintained American Airlines with an underweight, raising the price target from $15 to $18.
In adjusted operating revenue, Delta Air Lines rose 19% year-over-year, surpassing the projected 2014 estimate of $14.46 billion. Delta's adjusted EPS of $2.68, a year-on-year increase, also exceeded the consensus estimate of $2.39.
Passengers received substantial growth in revenue, reaching $13.21 billion, a significant 21% increase compared to the previous year. But cargo revenue fell by 37% year-on-year, to $172 million.
With a adjusted operating income of $2.5 billion, Delta's overall operating income represented a remarkable 73% year-on-year increase. A 52-week low of $11.65, and a 57-day low of $11.65.
