No misuse of helicopters in Federal Police Administration, says Federal Police

On July 11, 2023, the Federal Police Administration responded to the use of the Special Police Unit helicopters in the Federal Police Administration, and announced that there was neither misuse of helicopters nor, due to complicated procedures, is it at all possible for any misuse of helicopters to occur in the Federal Administration of the police.

Arnel Isak, a Representative of the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina, was transported by helicopter of the Federal Police Administration after learning about Isak's threat and carrying out security assessments by authorized officials. The report was made on all of the above, and the ride was carried out after obtaining all the necessary procedural approvals it was announced from the Federal Police Administration.

The minister s cabinet chief, Ervin Mu inovi, said in a timely manner that the aforementioned facts were accurately reported.

In order to protect the interests of the Federal Police Administration, we are obliged to point out that there was no misuse of helicopters and is it possible, due to complicated procedures, for any misuse of helicopters in the Federal Police Administration, they said.

The date for the helicopters' departure from Bratunac, i.e. Its arrival was adapted to the previously expected duties of the Federal Minister of the Interior Ramo Isak. However, Minister Isak did not request that the previously determined departure time be moved or adapted to Representative Isak, as they stated, because the helicopter was certainly moving on the route Bratunac Sarajevo.

The Federal Police Administration, due to protection of the interests of the service and the case related to endangering the security of representative Isak, will no longer comment on the said issue, the FUP said.
