On August 16, Los Angeles (US) : In an interesting turn in the much-anticipated 'cage fight' between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, both tech leaders again entered an indirect war of words.
Facebook's story started on Instagram, along with the screenshot of Musk's tweet where he had first challenged the Meta owner.
The X-owner has apologised to Zuckerberg for not accepting the challenge.
Earlier today, Zuckerberg in a cryptic post gave the impression that he had backed off from the fight.
He said in a post on Threads that he would focus on competing with people who take the sport seriously.
It's time to move on, he said. I offered a real date. Dana White offered to make this a legitimate competition for charity. Elon won't confirm a date, then says he needs surgery, and now asks to do a practice round in my backyard instead.
This didn't go down well with Musk, who took to X, threw some jabs at his tech rival. Musk has announced that X will be live-streamed with all proceeds going to charity. When he wrote on Threads, tween X/Twitter, do we use a more reliable platform that can actually raise money for charity?
