IRCTC is now offering customers convenient access to multi-modal transportation ticket booking, encompassing railway, roadways, and air travel. The airline's IATA-certified site for air ticket bookings, www.air.irctc.co.in, provides customers with the ability to book both international and domestic flights at competitive prices.
As part of its Foundation Day celebrations, IRCTC will waive convenience fees for customers booking international and domestic flight tickets through its website from September 25 to September 27. By using the air ticketing portal, www.irctc.co.in, or IRCTC Air mobile app, travel enthusiasts can take advantage of this promotion.
In addition to the convenience fees, the IRCTC has introduced additional discounts of up to Rs. There is a limit of 2000 surcharge for card transactions from various banks. Beyond the cost-saving advantages and attractive discounts, the IRCTC Air website and app are equipped with a variety of user-friendly features that simplify both flight searches, price comparisons, and ticket bookings for both round and multi-city trips.
IRCTC Air provides defence personnel with defence fares and offers leave travel concession tickets for government officials. The airline also offers a travel insurance policy worth Rs 50 Lakhs with every booking made through its portal.
