Sri Lanka's Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Sabry said his country is looking to forge closer ties with India, particularly in the areas of electricity, renewable energy, tourism and port shipping. In an exclusive interview with news agency ANI, Mr. Sabry emphasized that India is one of the fastest growing economies in the world.
Sabry highlighted the situation in his country and India's assistance, stressing that the situation is much better than last year.
The agreement was signed by the State Bank of India and the Government of Sri Lanka during their two-day visit to India.
