The movement for Rights and Freedoms will not nominate a mayor of Sofia, nor will it support other parties' candidates - even in the run-off, MRF MP Delyan Peevski said.
The candidate for Sofia mayor, journalist Anton Hekimian, the candidate of Vasil Terziev, said that so far the attempts of journalists to enter politics have not ended well.
After GERB's nomination, Vazrazhdane's leader Kostadin Kostadinov announced Vazrazhdane's bid for the presidency would go to a run-off in the capital. Bulgaria has almost no independent and objective journalists left, he said.
