Jimmy Donaldson, the creator of MrBeast, has joined the Charlotte Hornets and will plaster his snack company's logo on their NBA jerseys. The Charlotte Hornets announced that Feastables will be the team's official jersey patch partner for the 2023-2024 season.
The Charlotte Hornets' logo will also be used on the Charlotte Hornets' jerseys, the Greensboro Swarm, the NBA G League team associated with the Hornets, and the Hornets' Venom GT, an NBA 2K League esports team. The Charlotte Hornets will also include Feastables branding in the backdrops it uses for press conferences and interviews.
Feastables, a new brand from MrBeast, was launched in January 2022, and is known for selling MrBeast-branded chocolate bars and cookies. With the assistance of Night Media, a talent management agency, and Jim Murray, the former president of the protein snack bar RxBar, he created the brand. Feastables made more than $10 million in the months following its launch.
The Charlotte Hornets will also sell uniforms with Feastables branding on its Hornets fan shop. Beyond Feastables, MrBeast also owned MrBeastBurger, which operates on a ghost kitchen business model that has workers preparing delivery-only orders out of existing restaurants or other locations. In July, MrBeast filed suit against his virtual kitchen partner for allegedly selling customers 'indible' burgers, which ended up suing him in return.
