BEIJING - China's centrally managed state-owned enterprises in strategic emerging industries surged more than 30 percent from a year earlier in the first eight months of 2023, according to the country's top state-asset regulator.
The state-owned assets supervisory and administration commission of the state council said such investments totalled more than 840 billion yuan during this period.
