Ledger, Sotheby's tie-up for exclusive digital art payments

Ledger, a crypto wallet provider, has collaborated with art auction house Sotheby's to offer exclusive benefits to digital art collectors.

The tie-up means that customers of the most valuable digital art at Sotheby's will receive a limited-edition Sotheby's Nano X hardware wallet beginning in 2024.

The collaboration will also include the introduction of a limited edition of the Ledger Stax.

The Sotheby's elite collectors can benefit from a premium 'white-glove concierge onboarding' facilitated by Ledger, which will seamlessly incorporate them into the Ledger Academy's educational resources.

The move comes as Ledger's plans to become a key player in the digital art industry.

The firm began the construction of an NFT Art collection last year and started a fund to aid artists globally.

They have also organized notable auctions, including prominent digital art as well as an auction dedicated to famous artist Vera Molnàr.

We continue to strive to create a comprehensive digital art environment for collectors, and this partnership with Ledger is a key step in that development, said Fahey, a spokeswoman for Metaverse.
