Two passengers from Bihar were killed and eight passengers were injured in a road accident on the Ayodhya NH-27 highway.
As soon as the bus reached Ayodhya in the morning, the bus suddenly stopped at an over-bridge in Kotwali Nagar. A truck coming from behind hit a bus at a bus stop.
In addition to this, eight other people were injured and are undergoing treatment at the district hospital and trauma centre.
Madhuban Singh also informed India's foreign minister, Arvind Kejriwal.
The dead passengers are residents of Madhubani and Supaul in Bihar. Six patients have been admitted to Darshan Nagar Medical College, while two patients have been admitted to Ayodhya District Hospital for treatment.
The incident site and the District Hospital Trauma Center are being inspected by senior officials.
