Israeli Cyber Unit Freezes Hamas' Cryptocurrency Accounts Used for Fundraising

The Israeli police's cyber unit, Lahav 443, announced on Tuesday that it has taken action to freeze the cryptocurrency accounts which were believed to be utilized by the Palestinian militant organization Hamas, based in Gaza, for their funding activities. In response to an attack by Hamas resulting in a devastating death toll of 900 in Israel, Israel declared war on the group. As a retaliatory airstrike, at least 687 people were killed in Gaza.
