Sam Bankman-Fried's trial has entered its second week, with FTX co-founder Gary Wang expected to return to the witness stand following his shocking testimony on Friday. Another key witness, Caroline Ellison, the former CEO of Bankman-Fried's crypto hedge fund Alameda Research and his ex-girlfriend, will also be called up by the prosecution. The defense is set to continue cross-examining Wang, focusing on his claim that FTX allowed Alameda to withdraw unlimited funds and provided them with a $65 billion line of credit. Ellison, who had previously reached a plea agreement with the government on numerous fraud charges, may provide even more explosive testimony. Bankman-Fried's attorney has hinted that the defense strategy might involve blaming FTX's collapse on Ellison, citing her failure to act appropriately during a storm and alleging that the defendant leaked her diary to the press.
