Telangana Jana Samithi Joins Forces with Congress Party in the Battle Against Bharat Rashtra Samithi

The Telangana Jana Samithi has decided to support the Congress party in the upcoming assembly polls, providing a significant boost to the Congress' fight against the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). Following a meeting between Jana Samithi party president M Kodandaram and Telangana Pradesh Congress chief Revanth Reddy, it was announced that the Jana Samithi will not contest the elections, but instead lend their support to the Congress party on the ground. The assembly elections in Telangana are scheduled for November 30, with vote counting taking place on December 3. In the previous elections, the BRS emerged victorious with 88 seats, capturing 47.4% of the total vote share, while the Congress secured 19 seats and a vote share of 28.7%.
