National Revenue Agency Launches Probe into Mihaylov's Companies

The National Revenue Agency Director, Rumen Spetsov, has ordered inspections of the companies owned by Ivelin Mihaylov, co-founder of the Velichie party and creator of the Historical Park near Varna. This decision was based on signals filed several months ago alleging financial schemes and fraud.

Spetsov clarified that these proceedings are ongoing and no results have been obtained yet. He also explained that Mihaylov's companies have accumulated tax liabilities. However, Spetsov emphasized that the signals submitted against Mihaylov's companies are not related to the past election campaign.

The Velichie party achieved surprising results in the recent Parliamentary and European Parliament elections held on June 9th. The party garnered 4.65% support, securing its place as one of the seven political formations that will enter the new Bulgarian Parliament.
