Suresh Gopi's New Role as MoS Tourism and Petroleum

Suresh Gopi, the newly appointed Minister of State for Tourism and Petroleum in the Narendra Modi-led government, expressed his gratitude for the support he received from people across various walks of life. Gopi, who hails from Kerala, visited the Thali Mahadeva temple in Kozhikode upon his return to the state. He stated that he would not engage in such discussions and emphasized the importance of respecting individual opinions and perspectives.

Gopi's victory in the Thrissur Lok Sabha seat marked a historic moment for the BJP in Kerala. He emerged victorious in a three-way contest against senior Congress leader K Muraleedharan and Left leader Sunil Kumar. His win signifies a significant shift in the political landscape of Kerala and underscores the growing popularity of the BJP in the state.
