Israeli Airstrike on Gaza School Kills Over 100
An Israeli airstrike on a Gaza school housing displaced families killed over 100 people, according to the Hamas-run Gaza government. The Israeli military claims it targeted Hamas militants and disputes the death toll.

Around 350 families were sheltering at the school, among hundreds of thousands displaced by the ongoing conflict. Both the upper floor housing families and the lower floor used as a mosque were hit.
The Israeli military claims the compound was an active Hamas and Islamic Jihad military facility and that the strike was precise. Hamas condemns the attack as a horrific crime and denies any combatants were killed.
The international community has condemned the attack, with the EU's foreign policy chief expressing horror and calls for an end to the violence. Egypt, Qatar, and other countries have also condemned the strike.
The attack comes as fears of a broader conflict involving Iran and Hezbollah grow. Ceasefire negotiations are scheduled for Thursday, with Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu sending a delegation.
The Israeli offensive in Gaza has killed nearly 40,000 Palestinians, according to the health ministry. Israel says it has lost 329 soldiers, while Hamas does not publish its casualties.
