Death Toll Rises to Four, Rescue Efforts Continue Amidst Grief and Determination

Rescue Efforts Underway

A building collapse in Lucknow's Transport Nagar area on Saturday has left at least four people dead and several others injured. Rescue operations are currently underway to evacuate those trapped under the debris.

As of now, 28 people have been rescued and sent to hospitals for treatment. However, several people are still feared trapped. The District Magistrate of Lucknow, Suryapal Gangwar, is monitoring the situation and ensuring that the injured receive proper medical care.

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh expressed sadness over the incident and spoke to the District Magistrate to get updates on the situation. He also assured that the local administration is providing all possible assistance to the victims.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also taken cognizance of the incident and instructed officials to expedite the rescue efforts. He has also directed that the injured be immediately transported to the hospital for treatment and wished for their speedy recovery.

The rescue operation is being carried out by the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), fire services, medical services, electricity department, Municipal council, and other departments. The Chief Minister is continuously monitoring the situation and the rescue operations.
