Akhand Jyoti Yatra Begins its Journey from Shantikunj, Haridwar
On September 7th, 2023, Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla attended the Akhand Jyoti Yatra Sammelan organized at Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya in Shantikunj, Haridwar. He extended his greetings on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi and highlighted the significance of the Yatra.
"Today, Akhand Jyoti Yatra has begun from this land of Shantikunj," Birla stated. "This Yatra will spread the message of spirituality and knowledge to the people of the country. It will also help in character building and bring Indian culture to the countrymen."
Birla also extended his best wishes to all on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, emphasizing the importance of seeking blessings before embarking on new endeavors.
In a separate post, Birla shared his address at the Jyoti Kalash Yatra Sammelan. He expressed his support for the Yatra's expansion into the states of the Northeast, including Rajasthan.
Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrated with Enthusiasm Across India
Ganesh Chaturthi, a vibrant ten-day festival, commenced on September 6th, 2023, and is being celebrated with great enthusiasm across India. Devotees are engaged in preparations, including bringing Ganesh idols into their homes, observing fasts, preparing traditional offerings, and visiting pandals. The festival will conclude on Anantha Chaturdashi.
