MEP Ilhan Kyuchyuk has brought into question the party affiliation of Delyan Peevski, indicating a lack of clear evidence of his membership in a local organization. Kyuchyuk highlighted concerns about various falsifications within the MRF, suggesting that Peevski's role in the party may not be as transparent as claimed.
Regarding the upcoming elections and the requirement for party coalitions to provide documents proving their composition, Kyuchyuk emphasized the importance of following procedural actions. He criticized the idea that an administrative body could potentially hinder a political force supported by a significant number of Bulgarian voters, citing the backing of 400,000 voters for the MRF.
The "Democracy, Rights and Freedoms - MRF" coalition is set to challenge the electoral commission's instructions by filing a complaint with the Supreme Administrative Court. Kyuchyuk expressed apprehension about the possibility of the court being influenced, raising doubts about the potential impartiality of the proceedings. Additionally, Kyuchyuk highlighted the anticipated significant role of Ahmed Dogan, the honorary chairman of MRF, in the upcoming election campaign.
