Strengthening Ties and Collaboration
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Singapore marked a significant step in strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations. During his visit, PM Modi met with his counterpart, Lawrence Wong, and signed four Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) covering various areas of cooperation.

The digital development MoU emphasizes cooperation in areas like DPI, cybersecurity, 5G, and emerging technologies like supercomputing, quantum computing, and artificial intelligence. It also enables collaboration for upskilling and reskilling workers in the digital domain.
The health and family welfare MoU focuses on joint research and innovation, promoting closer cooperation in human resource development within the healthcare and pharmaceuticals sector. Additionally, the Indian government aims to promote Indian healthcare professionals in Singapore.
The electronics MoU pertains to cooperation in semiconductor cluster development and talent cultivation in semiconductor design and manufacturing. This MoU facilitates investments from Singaporean companies in India's growing semiconductor industry.
Finally, the skill development MoU aims to promote cooperation in technical and vocational education and training, complementing ongoing collaboration in this area.
PM Modi's visit to Singapore not only strengthened bilateral ties but also paved the way for increased collaboration in various sectors, fostering economic growth and development for both nations.
