In the ongoing legal battle over the estate of late hotelier PRS Oberoi, his daughter Anastasia Oberoi has taken legal action against her family members in the Delhi High Court. She has accused her brother Vikramjit, sister Natasha, and cousin Arjun of collaborating with the executors appointed by their father to impede the execution of his will.
The court, presided over by Justice Navin Chawla, issued an interim order that included an injunction related to the shares owned by PRS Oberoi. This order was aimed at safeguarding Anastasia's and her mother's possession rights to their family home, acknowledging their prima facie claim based on the evidence presented.
Justice Chawla emphasized that the plaintiffs had provided enough evidence to establish the credibility of the will and codicil presented by them. He further noted that the plaintiffs had successfully made a strong prima facie case in their favor, indicating that the balance of convenience favored them over the defendants and that harm could be inflicted if the subject matter of the lawsuit was tampered with during the legal proceedings.
