Ministry to Launch Digital Platform BHASKAR to Strengthen India's Startup Ecosystem

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry in India is introducing a new digital platform called BHASKAR which will serve as a centralized hub for stakeholders within the startup ecosystem. This initiative is part of the Government of India's broader vision to position the country as a global leader in innovation and entrepreneurship. With over 1,46,000 DPIIT-recognized startups emerging in India, BHASKAR is designed to address challenges faced by entrepreneurs and investors by providing a one-stop digital platform for fostering collaboration and growth within the startup community.

BHASKAR will offer a personalized BHASKAR ID for each stakeholder to facilitate better interaction and seamless access to various resources, tools, and knowledge essential for the entrepreneurial journey. By bridging the gap between startups, investors, mentors, and other stakeholders, the platform is tailored to encourage networking, collaboration, and growth. Through its launch, BHASKAR aims to create the world's largest digital registry for stakeholders in the startup landscape and provide features like networking, collaboration tools, and efficient search capabilities to facilitate decision-making and partnerships.

The Government of India is inviting all stakeholders within the startup ecosystem to join BHASKAR, which is envisioned to revolutionize India's startup environment and foster a more connected and collaborative space for entrepreneurship. By emphasizing knowledge access, resource consolidation, and cross-border collaborations, BHASKAR aims to catapult India's reputation as a global innovation hub. This platform solidifies the government's commitment to propelling innovation, entrepreneurship, and job creation, positioning India as a key player in the global startup arena.
