Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu recently launched two books penned by Ajay Parashar, the Director of Information and Public Relations of North East Council. The first book, 'Jalandhar Peeth Ka Rahsya,' delves into a detailed exploration of the historical and religious importance of several peeths located in Himachal Pradesh. Divided into three sections, the book covers the geographical origins, spiritual and religious significance of Jalandhar Peeth in the first section, descriptions of Shakti Peeths in the second section, and historical descriptions alongside present forms of Siddh Sthals in the third section.
The second book released by Chief Minister Sukhu, 'Mushtarka Khata,' is a compilation of sixteen short stories that capture various facets of everyday life. These stories aim to provide readers with a glimpse into the diverse aspects of local culture and history, promoting a deeper understanding of the community's narratives and experiences. Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu commended Ajay Parashar for his literary contributions, acknowledging the value these books bring in amplifying the appreciation and preservation of regional culture and history. Through these publications, the Chief Minister highlighted the importance of embracing different perspectives and encouraging individuals to not only observe incidents but to comprehend them thoroughly.
