Hundreds of Apple fans eagerly gathered outside Apple's flagship stores in Delhi and Mumbai as the iPhone 16 series was officially released in India. The smartphones, which were unveiled during Apple's Glowtime event earlier in the month, had created a buzz among consumers, leading to large crowds at the BKC store in Mumbai and the Saket store in Delhi. Videos shared by news agency ANI captured the excitement surrounding the launch, showing long queues of customers at Select City Walk, Saket, extending throughout the shopping mall.
The iPhone 16 Pro is priced starting at Rs 1,19,900, while the Pro Max variant begins at Rs 1,44,900, which is slightly lower compared to the launch prices of last year's iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. Apple is also providing a trade-in option for customers, allowing them to exchange their old iPhone or Android devices for credit of up to Rs 67,500 towards the purchase of a new iPhone 16, depending on the model and condition of the traded device. This trade-in option adds to the appeal of upgrading to the latest iPhone models for customers looking to make the switch.
