BSF Seizes Gold Biscuits in Cooch Behar

The Border Security Force (BSF) Guwahati Frontier has successfully seized five gold biscuits weighing 583.410 grams during a special search operation in the Cooch Behar district of West Bengal. This operation is a significant achievement in the BSF's ongoing efforts to curb trans-border crimes and smuggling along the Indo-Bangladesh border.

Acting on credible intelligence, vigilant BSF personnel from the 138th Battalion launched a meticulously planned search operation in the border area. Their efforts resulted in the successful seizure of the gold biscuits, which are estimated to be worth approximately Rs 45.03 lakh.

The BSF has been intensifying its operations in the region due to the sensitive nature of the Indo-Bangladesh border and the increasing activities of trans-border smugglers and anti-national elements. This latest seizure demonstrates the BSF's commitment to effectively dominating the region and preventing illegal activities.
