At a news conference held on October 10, Tadashi Yanai, chairman and president of Fast Retailing, expressed his satisfaction with the company's progress, declaring that they have now emerged as a true global brand ready for the next phase of growth. Fast Retailing's approach of providing top-notch everyday clothing crafted with Japanese technology resonated worldwide, solidifying its position as a leading fast fashion retailer on the global stage.

The aspirations of Tadashi Yanai extend beyond the current success, with a long-standing goal to propel Fast Retailing's sales to 5 trillion yen in the coming years, aiming even higher to reach 10 trillion yen in the future. The company's growth trajectory is propelled by its international ventures, with Uniqlo's global footprint now spanning 1,698 stores worldwide, constituting 68% of the brand's total locations. The North American and European markets have witnessed substantial growth, with sales surging by 30 to 40% annually and operating profits escalating by approximately 70%.

The cornerstone of Uniqlo's global triumph lies in its innovative product development, leveraging technology from its strategic partner, Torey Industries Inc., a prominent Japanese textile enterprise.
