A high-end BMW Z4 worth Rs 80 lakhs owned by a businessman from Bandra was stolen from the parking lot of Bastian, a fine-dining restaurant in Mumbai that is owned by Shilpa Shetty. The owner of the car, Ruhan Khan, reported that the theft occurred in the early hours of October 27 after he had handed the keys to the valet staff upon arriving at the restaurant around 1 a.m.
Ruhan Khan mentioned that when the restaurant closed around 4 a.m., he asked the valet to bring his car but was informed that it was missing from where it had been parked. Upon further investigation, it was revealed through the restaurant's CCTV footage that two unidentified individuals had stolen his BMW Z4 after arriving in another vehicle. Khan's statement to the police highlighted that the valet had not returned his car for an extended period, leading him to inquire about its whereabouts, only to discover it had been stolen.
The police are actively investigating the case and are utilizing the leads they have to track down the suspects involved in the luxury car theft. Ruhan Khan's unfortunate incident serves as a reminder of the risks associated with leaving high-value vehicles unattended, even in seemingly secure locations like popular restaurants in affluent areas like Bandra in Mumbai.
