Contractor Gifted Rolex for Exceptional Work
Gurdip Dev Bath, a prominent businessman from Punjab, recently bestowed a remarkable gift upon his contractor, Rajinder Singh Roopra. In recognition of Roopra's exceptional work on Bath's expansive estate in Zirakpur, he presented him with a stunning Rolex watch valued at a staggering Rs 1 crore.
This gesture serves as a testament to Roopra's dedication and expertise, which were instrumental in bringing Bath's vision to life. Bath lauded Roopra's "commitment to quality, speed of delivery, and meticulous attention," emphasizing the significance of the gift in reflecting the grandeur of the property.
The luxurious timepiece, an 18-carat yellow gold Oyster Perpetual Sky-Dweller, boasts a champagne-colored dial and a gold-linked oyster bracelet. This extravagant gift marks the culmination of an intense two-year project, during which Roopra, hailing from Shahkot in Punjab, meticulously oversaw a workforce of 200 to complete the impressive 9-acre estate in Zirakpur.
Inspired by Rajasthani forts, the property designed by architect Ranjodh Singh features towering boundary walls, spacious halls, and beautifully landscaped gardens. Roopra acknowledged the challenges encountered during the project but emphasized the rewarding experience it provided. He attributed the success of meeting tight deadlines and realizing Bath's vision to the unwavering teamwork of his entire workforce.
Bath expressed his profound appreciation for Roopra's dedication, stating that the contractor surpassed the family's expectations, delivering "more than I could have asked for." The Zirakpur estate seamlessly blends style, security, and practicality, resulting in a fortress-like appearance that reflects the meticulous planning and execution involved in its creation.
