ITI Limited has successfully secured bids to work on the BharatNet Phase-3 project, specifically in states like Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The project, divided into 16 packages, involves the Design, Supply, Construction, Installation, Upgradation, Operation, and Maintenance of the Middle Mile Network on a Design Build Operate and Maintain (DBOM) Model.
Rajesh Rai, the Chairman and Managing Director of ITI Limited, expressed his enthusiasm for winning bids for the BharatNet Phase-3 project, stating that this achievement will be a turning point for the company. In addition to their successes in the BharatNet project, ITI Limited recently secured an order from the Bihar Renewable Energy Development Authority (BREDA) for the supply and installation of Solar Street Light Systems. This contract, worth Rs 300 crores, underscores the company's expanding portfolio and capabilities in the renewable energy sector. ITI Limited's manufacturing facilities across different locations in India, coupled with their research and development center and widespread marketing and sales offices, contribute to their ability to undertake and deliver projects of such scale and complexity.
