A Visual Metaphor for Power
Apple has launched a captivating campaign to showcase the power of its new MacBook Pro, featuring the M4 chip family. The short film, directed by Megaforce, uses a weightlifter effortlessly twirling heavy barbells as a metaphor for the MacBook Pro's ability to handle demanding workloads.
The performance, choreographed by Denna Thomsen, mirrors the seamless power of the M4 series. Stunt double Steven Shelby, who plays the lifter, worked with world champion baton twirler Yvonne Palacios to perfect the movements. Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir's narration adds humor and inspiration, set against Des'ree's uplifting track "You Gotta Be."
This unusual approach blends athletic performance and microchip technology into a mainstream narrative. The campaign aims to resonate with viewers beyond the tech sphere, making the powerful M4 series relatable and engaging.
