Ashok Kumar Pansari Awarded for Excellence in Education
Ashok Kumar Pansari, Chancellor of Assam Royal Global University (RGU), has been recognized for his outstanding contributions to education with the "Outstanding Educator of the Year 2024" Award. This prestigious award was presented at the 18th Global Communications Conclave held in Mangalore.
The award acknowledges Dr. Pansari's dedication to building educational institutions in the North Eastern Region, an area facing developmental challenges. He established DPS Guwahati in 2003, followed by the Royal Group of Institutions in 2009, Royal Global School in 2012, and finally, Assam Royal Global University in 2017. These institutions have created excellent educational opportunities for students in the region, reducing the need for them to seek quality education elsewhere.
Professor YSR Murthy, Vice Chancellor of RGU, received the award on behalf of Dr. Pansari from Shripad Yesso Naik, Union Minister of State for Power, New and Renewable Energy Sources. Professor Murthy praised Dr. Pansari's efforts, stating that the award is a fitting recognition of his two decades of dedication. He highlighted Dr. Pansari's role in creating educational opportunities for thousands of students in the Northeast, transforming the region and contributing significantly to nation-building.

Their Chanakya Awards celebrate outstanding contributions in various fields and to society at large.
