BSF Additional Director General Visits Jammu Frontier, Interacts with Troops

The Border Security Force (BSF) Additional Director General, Satish S Khandare, recently made a three-day visit to the BSF Jammu Frontier. During his visit, he was warmly received by the BSF Inspector General DK Boora and other senior officers of the Jammu Frontier. One of the highlights of his visit was a meeting with Manoj Sinha, the Lieutenant Governor of Union territory Jammu and Kashmir, where discussions about border security and related matters took place.

Throughout his visit, ADG Khandare was given a detailed presentation by the IG BSF about various critical aspects of border security and domination along the International Border of Jammu. He made a visit to the Kathua & Samba border area, where he engaged with the Sector Commander and Battalion Commandants to understand the operational aspects in that region. Additionally, on November 13, 2024, the ADG visited LC and took the opportunity to interact with troops, commending them for their dedication and professionalism in carrying out their duties along the border.

In a heartwarming gesture, ADG Khandare flagged off a Bharat Darshan Tour for 34 school children selected from bordering villages of Poonch & Rajouri in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. This initiative not only provided these young individuals with a unique learning experience but also showcased the BSF's commitment to engaging with the local community and fostering positive relationships in the border regions.
